Genco is currently distributed directly as an Android APK rather than through Google Play. Anyone can download the app, but an invitation from an existing member is required to create an account.

Share to Genco, plus call and connection fixes.
- Share to Genco: send a photo, video, file, or link straight from another app into any chat, with a preview and a caption before it goes.
- New avatar shapes: give your character a different silhouette, or keep using your own photo.
- Genco now recovers on its own when your connection drops. Before, losing signal could leave the app stuck until you closed it and opened it again.
- Blocking someone now stops their messages and their calls too, not just new chats.
- Fixed shared lists sometimes not showing.
- Fixed a chat sometimes opening blank.
- Fixed contact photos not showing in your chat list and at the top of a chat.
- Fixed a photo that failed to send disappearing with no warning.

- See members and admins, promote or remove people, rename a group, and set a group photo.
- Group tags: a short label so people with the same name are easy to tell apart.
- @-mentions, so you can get someone’s attention even if they’ve muted the chat.
